BY THE CITY COUNCIL:
BIRD, BORTON, ROUNTREE, WARDLE
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING FEES FOR USE OF
THE MERIDIAN POLICE DEPARTMENT PUBLIC CONFERENCE ROOM;
PROVIDING FOR A WAIVER OF CONFERENCE ROOM FEES IN CERTAIN
CIRCUMSTANCES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, in compliance with Idaho Code 63-1311A, the City of Meridian has
advertised the proposed fees for public use of the Meridian Police Department public
conference room and has advertised a public hearing which was held on January 24,
2006; and,
WHEREAS, after such hearing, the City Council approved the proposed fees.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the following fees for the use ofthe Meridian Police Department
public conference room are hereby adopted:
Half Day (4 hours)
Full Day (8 hours)
Lost / Non-returned Key Card
$25.00
$40.00
$ 8.00
Section 2. That the Chief of Police or his designee shall have the authority to
exercise discretion in waiving all or part ofthe fee if the person or organization is using
the conference room for City business or for other purposes that are consistent with the
needs of or a benefit to the City of Meridian.
Section 3. That the Meridian Police Department is hereby authorized to
implement and carry out the collection of said fees.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect on the 1 st day of
March, 2006.
