As this is still an open application, I can’t comment on the issues outside of the public hearing. I am copying our City Clerk so your email and this response can be included. Additionally, I am copying our Code Enforcement Supervisor and she will be in touch regarding the trash issue you have identified, if the property is annexed into the City of Meridian. Dear Mayor Simison, Thank for the opportunity to attend and voice my concerns at the public hearing last week, in regards to the Heron Village Expansion. One of my concerns is the trash on the sides of the road left by the tenants who park on the street and in the field. I have attached a few photos. It’s so frustrating. I’m not sure how it’s will be resolved but just wanted you to see an example of what we deal with daily. I did call the property managers regarding the trash this morning. Hopefully they will take responsibility and clean it up. Thank you for your time and for listening. Respectfully, Valinda Sorenson 138 East Waterbury Lane Meridian, Idaho 208-761-4699 2
