RE: Aviator Springs Subdivision (H-2021-0065) Stub Street
Dear Kristen,
We have reviewed your development application for the Aviator Springs
subdivision and are in general support of the development. We do request a
minor modification to the street stub you are providing to the south property line
that abuts our northern property boundary. We submitted a development
application to the City of Meridian for the McDermott Village subdivision in
November 2020. That application included a subdivision which provided a stub
street to our northern property boundary located directly adjacent to the west
side of the future Highway 16 right-of-way. The stub street you are proposing to
our property is located approximately 45 feet to the west of the future Highway
16 right-of-way and does not align with the street connection we anticipate
constructing.
We request that you shift your proposed stub street approximately 45 feet to the
east so that is abuts the east side of the future Highway 16 right-of-way to provide
a better alignment with the street connection proposed with our development to
the south.
We are happy to meet with you and your team to discuss further if desired.
