Broadway Ave. Meridian, ID 83642 Re: East Ridge #2 Subdivision Guard Shack and Entry Gates To Whom It May Concern: Please find the attached submittal for the Certificate of Zoning Compliance and Design Review Applications. The proposed buildings are an unmanned guard shack and entry gates. The guard shack is approximately 80 square feet, and the entry gates are approximately 60 linear feet. These will be constructed at the entrance to the East Ridge Subdivision No. 2 approved community. The guard shack will be wrapped in “Eldorado Moonlight” cultured stone veneer with a black asphalt shingled roof. There will be landscaping around the guard shack and a raised planter bed in front to soften the rough stone look. The “Village” sign attached to the guard shack will be black powdercoated aluminum letters. This sign will be back lit to create a soft glow at night. These decorative entry gates will feature an arch shape and will be powdercoated in bronze. The columns on each side of the gates will also be wrapped in “Eldorado Moonlight” stone veneer. This gated entry into the “Village” portion of the East Ridge Subdivision will create a sense of community and safety.
