Narrative for the Maverik site
When the Final Plat Landscape Plan for the Woodland Springs subdivision was submitted
to the city, the lot on the corner had not been purchased and it use was unknown. Our
understanding was that the plat was more to show the number of trees that needed to be
mitigated not a final location of trees. The final plat creates a wall of trees that would
restrict or even eliminate the visibility of our site. We have clustered the trees and tried
to open windows of visibility to our station. We have also increased the number of trees
required to help beatify the area. We fill that our landscaping creates an attractive site
and still gives required visibility to the store.
