Dear Planning and Zoning Committee and City Council:
We are residents of Rockhampton 1 that will be negatively impacted by the proposed Centerville Subdivision. We are
emailing you to let you know that we oppose Engineering Solutions, LLP Proposal to rezone the Centerville subdivision
because it is in conflict with the City of Meridian's Master Development Plan.
We oppose the developer's proposal for the following reasons:
1. It is in conflict with the City's vision depicted on its Future Land Use Map.
2. It is in conflict with the mission of the Planning Division to advance the quality lifestyle and economy envisioned in the
City of Meridian's Comprehensive Plan.
3. It will significantly overburden the existing and proposed infrastructure, such as roads, schools, and fire departments.
327 households in this subdivision will significantly impact the already overcrowded schools and roads. Both Amity and
Cloverdale are 2-lane roads and cannot handle the additional traffic.
