To whom it may concern, As a resident who will be impacted by the proposed Centerville Subdivision I write in opposition to the development as proposed. My primary opposition is that the Centerville development currently includes a "High Density" component. High density dwelling units are in conflict with both the City of Meridian Comprehensive Plan and the existing community into which the development will be inserted. Existing infrastructure is already burdened by the explosive development in the area. While the intersection of Eagle Rd. and Amity Rd. is currently being improved to accommodate increased traffic, however, Amity Rd. is not expected to be improved for several years. Hillsdale Elementary School is already overcrowded and the addition of high density dwelling units will either place additional burdens on that overcrowding or expand the need for student transportation.
