City Clerk, I am writing to add my voice about the upcoming Centerville subdivision. While I understand the purpose for more housing. I am an advocate for city planning. There are many factors to consider in each element of a new building project. Many surrounding areas to the Centerville project are still stretching at the seams to meet the influx and demands of the housing that has already been built in the area. Schools, community resources, roads etc... are not currently designed to meet the demands and expanding demands. It is my view that all factors and quality of life for those currently in the area should be considered before just adding more and more homes. There is plenty of available space spread throughout the area that can be built on to balance the traffic and demands. I am opposed to the current plan of building a significant number of homes and apartments in that small area. I am in favor of a significant reduction in the number of homes, an added park area, and no apartments in the area. Planning the areas carefully will help establish a better city and quality of life for everyone in Meridian. Thank you for your consideration. Karen Kimball Century Farms area Meridian Idaho 1
