As a resident of the Rockhampton neighborhood, I am opposed to rezoning the plot of land at Hillsdale and Amity, as
proposed by the Centerville Development. The 2-lane roads of Amity and Cloverdale already become congested. The
addition of high density housing will further exacerbate this issue. In addition to the impact on the roads, the schools in
the area are already impacted. Adding several hundred new families to such an area would be irresponsible. Please
reject this effort of rezoning. As it is unlikely that the area will be rezoned for a park or light density housing, please
maintain the city’s current plan for that area.
