Hello,
My name is Charles Boyd and I live at 493 E. Shafer View Drive, in the Shafer View Estates Subdivision. I am in opposition
to the higher density request for this parcel. I live right across the highway from this proposed development. If you are
not familiar with the Shafer View Sub, the average lot size is 1.24 acres. My wife and I moved here 10 years ago because
of the open space and country feel. We knew at some point the area around us would be developed, but not at the
density requested. We have enough higher density subs in Meridian already. Why can’t we leave southern Meridian
more rural? I would like to see this property developed at no greater density than what the land is currently designated,
R-4.
