Hi,
I live in Champion Park, I am on the association board and I have also been a Realtor in the Valley for 16 years. I know
the impact this club have in our direct communities that surround the proposed club. My concern is mainly the location
and how it will affect home values and the joy of living in those neighborhoods. The following are things I believe will not
be able to be upheld by this project.
3.05.01C Preserve private property rights and values by enforcing regulations that will prevent and mitigate
against incompatible and detrimental neighboring use.
3.05.00 Ensure that all planning, zoning and land use decisions balance the interests of the community by
protecting private property rights for current citizens and future generations.
5.01.00 Sustain, enhance, promote, and protect elements that contribute to the livability and a high quality of
life for all Meridian residents.
5.01.01 Encourage the safety, health, and well-being of the community.
5.01.01F Minimize noise, lighting, and odor disturbances from commercial developments to residential
dwellings by enforcing city code.
5.01.02 Support beautiful and high quality development that reinforces neighborhood character and
sustainability.
5.01.02E Support and protect the identity of existing residential neighborhoods.
5.01.03 Strengthen community pride and identity.
