I wanted to write to say that I oppose the current location for the Oasis nightclub. I have no problem with the idea of a
night club in Meridian, however The proposed location is an inappropriate and poor fit. From my reading of the
previous approval, it seems that the night club only Received its approval by repeatedly lowering its customer count to
ridiculously low levels. Even at those lower levels, there is significantly inadequate parking. It will dramatically increase
traffic at one of the most used intersections in town. All parties expect that it will increase crime in a residential
neighborhood, close to an elementary school and homes with children and families. There is nothing about this proposal
that makes sense for the community, the neighborhood residents, or the city's overall plans. I kindly request that you
deny this request for approval and allow Oasis nightclub to choose a more adequate location for their business.
