Honorable Mayor and City Council Members,
I am writing to you regarding the appeal of the Oasis CUP application in advance of the public hearing tomorrow.
As you know, there is a lot of public sentiment regarding this application. To be respectful of your time and the process,
we have deliberately asked people to write their letters to the city clerk email instead of flooding your inboxes. Over the
past week, scores of people have emailed and I am writing you now to ask that you do us the courtesy of reviewing
those remarks in advance of the meeting tomorrow. Here is a link to the public comments. I would also refer you to the
scores of other comments from the initial application, many of which have not been resubmitted yet.
My co-appellant, Cherilyn Kynaston will also be emailing an updated narrative. We have been working together to
coordinate our communications and presentation. We're doing our best not to overlap or be redundant to be respectful
of your time and the public's time. We wish we could have provided more notice, but as this is not our full time job, it's
been a labor of weekends and evenings to collect all this information and prepare.

As someone who is not a professional real estate developer (but does have a general real estate background), I will have
some other feedback for you regarding the process as we have experienced it. However, I don't want that to affect the
results of this hearing and so I don't think that now is the appropriate time to share it; I'll wait until this matter is closed.
Thank you in advance for your service and your preparation. We are grateful for all the work you do to build and
maintain our great community and city.
