I am writing in opposition of the proposed Oasis Nightclub on the corner of Eagle and Ustick.
I have been following this application since the beginning and was very disappointed in the planning and zoning’s major
decision to permit the CUP.
This decision does not benefit the community as a whole nor does it reflect the voice of the people of Meridian.
I was very disturbed by the applicant’s many remarks that our community does not want the nightclub because of racial
biases or discrimination. I am a native Idahoan and that is so far from the truth of what the people of Idaho represent.
Please do not allow this to be placed in our community.
