Dear Mayor Simison and Council Members...I live in the Carol subdivision just west of the proposed nightclub. I am
opposed to having a drinking facility so close to my neighborhood. It would bring late night traffic noise, litter, parking
lot fights, and drunken behavior. I have read the comments from Steve Williams, a retired law enforcement officer, who
dealt with nightclubs in California> He notes the adverse impact they had on the community. Meridian's goals are to
have a family friendly city. This project will not be a beacon on the hill with all the problems it will bring.
The majority of those that support this project do not live in this area and their homes won't be impacted. Please listen
to the collective voice of your neighbors and vote no to this request for a conditional use permit.
