To Whom It May Concern:
I’m aware that several well articulated points regarding the Oasis night club on Eagle and Ustick have come to all of your
commissioners’ attention. I just wanted to add another nuanced point that has not been explicitly laid out as far as I can
see.
1) Placing a night club so close to our residential areas will consequently increase the volume of alcohol related incidents
2) In essence, it’d increase greatly the probabilities of intoxicated drivers hurting our residents by being concentrated
where we routinely transit and reside.
3) Also, as already highlighted by others, traffic has been a problem and transportation routes and planning for such is
already deficient as evidenced by superior models in other parts of the country.
Please, let’s exercise wisdom here and seek efficiency and common sense. We all can do better regarding this issue.
