Subject:Vote no for Oasis Nightclub

To whom it may concern,
I implore those who have been elected to represent their constituents to vote no on approving the oasis
nightclub at its current proposed location. With the size of this nightclub (10,000 sq feet) and the number of
patrons (up to 1000) vs. the size of the parking lot, it blows my mind that this was ever approved in the first
place. The owners of this establishment are manipulating the system by saying anything they need to, in order
to get this pushed through (i.e. lowering customer count from 1000 to 700 to 500 to 400) knowing that once it
is approved that this is unenforceable and that there will be no negative ramifications towards the business
owners-it will all be up to the surrounding citizens to deal with the negative consequences of this
parking/traffic nightmare. The parking lot designated for this business has approximately 120 parking spots,
well below what is needed-where will the other cars park? On streets in surrounding neighborhoods! This
should not be the problem of the surrounding citizens!! Oasis nightclub needs to move to a location with
enough parking to accommodate its guests. The traffic on the corner of Eagle and Ustick is already heavily
congested and it will only increase as the already approved businesses such as Dutch Bros and VillaSports are
built. There was no traffic study done in relation to this project and with the addition of this nightclub, which
will potentially house up to 1000 people, I can only imagine how this will negatively impact an already heavily
trafficked intersection. Our city planners are creating serious traffic and safety problems by approving this
nightclub. One final point is that this building was approved under the false pretenses that it was 7,000 sq ft
when in reality it is 10,000 sq ft (which would require even more parking), yet another way the owners are
trying say what they need to say to get this pushed through. Please listen to the voices of your constituents
and vote no for the Oasis nightclub at this proposed location.
Thank you,
