Dear Meridian City Council Members:
I'm writing to express my opposition to the proposed nightclub at Eagle and Ustick roads.
My wife and I, plus my son, his wife and three teenage children all live in the Champion Park Subdivision near the
proposed site. Approval of any nightclub would be a blow to the wholesome family and community atmosphere in our
area.
We wholeheartedly agree with Mayor Simpson’s comments found on the City website:
“Meridian is all about family. We pride ourselves on being the premier community to raise our families, which is
reflected in our investment in our city parks and emphasis on public safety. Our focus is on meeting the needs of
families.”
Meridian is a safe community where grandparents like my wife and I have moved to be closer to our families. It’s where
the family unit and family values are strong that makes the whole community strong. Meridian is a place where family
values are paramount.
Please make the right choice, do not allow this nightclub to locate where currently proposed. Many families are
counting on you.
