NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of
the City of Meridian and the Laws of the State of Idaho that
the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Meridian
will hold a public hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East
Broadway Avenue,Meridian, Idaho at the hour of 6:00 p.m.on
Thursday,August 5th, 2021 for the purpose of reviewing and
considering the following applications:
Engineering Solutions, LLP for Annexation and Zoning
of 40.49 acres of land from RUT to the R-8(13.35 acres)and
R-15 (27.14)zoning districts;and a Preliminary Plat consist-
ing of 190 total lots(124 single-family residential lots,35 town-
home lots, 2 multi-family lots, 1 commercial lot, 1 clubhouse
house, and 27 common lots)on 38.95 acres of land for Cen-
terville Subdivision (H-2021-0046), located at 4111 E.Amity
Rd.(including the outparcel to the south)and 5200 S.Hillsdale
Ave.,at the southeast corner of S.Hillsdale and E.Amity Rd.
Gem State Planning for Rezone of a total of 40.99 acres
of land from the R-4 zoning district to the TN-R zoning dis-
trict(Traditional Neighborhood Residential);and a Preliminary
Plat consisting of 227 residential building lots and 47 common
lots on 38.86 acres of land;and a Modification to the Existing
Development Agreement (Inst. #2016-007070), as required
by the existing development agreement provisions,for the pur-
pose of updating the development plan and to redevelop the
subject property to incorporate the proposed preliminary plat
for Briar Ridge Subdivision (H-2021-0036), located on the
west side of Meridian Rd.between W.Lake Hazel Rd.and W.
Amity Rd.,directly south of the mid-mile point.
The Land Group for a Conditional Use Permit to install
four(4)temporary portable classrooms for a time period of 4
years on the school site for Cole Valley Christian School Por-
table Classrooms(H-2021-0043),located at 1108 N.E.2 1/2 St.
Individuals wishing to testify in person may do so by attend-
ing the public hearing at the above-noted time and date.Oral
testimony may be limited to 3 minutes per person.Written testi-
mony may be submitted up to 72 hours prior to the Public Hear-
ing via mail or in person to Meridian City Clerk, 33 E.Broad-
way Ave,Suite 104,Meridian,ID,83642;by email to cityclerk@
meridiancity.org; by voicemail at 208-288-5607; or by texting
"Comment"to 31996.All testimony and materials received or
presented become property of the City of Meridian as public
records and are subject to the provisions of the Idaho Pub-
lic Records Law.Application materials are subject to change
throughout the public hearing process,and it is incumbent on
interested persons to monitor changes by following the process
in person,online,or by contacting City staff.
