Mr. Blume, We had a pre-application meeting for the above attached project. It was recommended by the City that we apply for alternative compliance because the 4 buildings on a single lane surpassed the newly passed Meridian Code. Because this property has two cross access easements that will be marked as fire lanes it was discussed that the Fire Department could support the alternative compliance request. These two cross access easements would provide adequate access for the Emergency vehicles. It was also discussed that a radius of 28/48 should be shown for adequate fire truck turn radiuses. If the above attached meets the requests of the Department, a letter of approval from the Department is requested so that it can be submitted to Community Development with the preliminary and final plats.
