Watertower Ln., Ste. 202 Meridian, ID 83642 Re: Final Plat of Paramount Commercial Southwest Subdivision No. 1, a 3.78- acre portion of Paramount Commercial Southwest, a 18.5-acre development located at the NE corner of Linder Road and McMillan Road, Meridian, Idaho. Dear Ms. Canning, This letter will serve to fulfill the Final Plat Application Checklist requirement to provide a narrative describing the proposed project. On September 25, 2007, the Meridian City Council approved PP 07-011 and MI 07-007 The Final Plat, that is herewith submitted, conforms to the approved preliminary plat and meets all requirements or conditions thereof, with one exception detailed below. In addition, the Final Plat conforms to all requirements and provisions of the UDC and to acceptable engineering, architectural and surveying practices and local standards. As stated, the Final Plat does conform to the approved preliminary plat with one exception. As you and Meridian City Planning staff have allowed, Brighton is submitting a Final Plat for only the southern portion (3.78 acres) of the entire 18.5-acre development. We are confident that by separating the overall development into phases that we will be able to respond to the dynamic nature of the commercial real estate market and still fulfill all the requirements and conditions of the Preliminary Plat. Paramount Commercial Southwest No.1 consists of four (4) parcels located along McMillan Road. Access to these parcels will be from two driveways on McMillan and one on Linder Road. As we have stated before, Brighton Corporation desires to develop this commercial area in a manner consistent with the quality of construction, landscaping and architectural vocabulary present in the existing Paramount development, thus creating an environment that will be immediately familiar to Paramount residents and recognizable to the surrounding communities as an integral part of Paramount.
