NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of
the City of Meridian and the Laws of the State of Idaho that
the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Meridian
will hold a public hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East
Broadway Avenue,Meridian,Idaho at the hour of 6:00 p.m.on
Thursday,July 15th,2021 for the purpose of reviewing and
considering the following applications:
City of Meridian for an Amendment to the Comprehen-
sive Plan Future Land Use Map to change the designation
from Mixed-Use Non-Residential on 40.9 acres of land to Me-
dium-Density Residential and 39.8 acres to Industrial, based
on the results of the most recent Odor Study for WRRF Map
Amendment (H-2021-0041), located approximately 1/4 mile
south of W. McMillan Rd., midway between N. Black Cat Rd.
and N.Ten Mile Rd.
Tamara Thompson of The Land Group, Inc. for Annex-
ation of 1.36 acres of land with a R-40 zoning district; a Re-
zone of 4.18 acres of land from C-G and R-8 to the R-40 zon-
ing district;and a Conditional Use Permit to allow expansion
of an existing 108-unit,5-building multifamily complex to allow
an additional 36 units in two new buildings for Heron Village
Expansion(H-2021-0027),located at 51,125 and 185 E.Blue
Heron Ln.
Jamie Koenig of Babcock Design for Annexation of 17.5
acres of land with a TN-R zoning district, a Preliminary Plat
consisting of 61 building lots and 8 common lots, and a Con-
ditional Use Permit to allow an Assisted Living and Memory
Care Facility on the southern portion of the property for Wells
Street Assisted Living/Andorra Subdivision(H-2021-0024),
located at 675,715 and 955 S.Wells St.
Jeff Hatch of Hatch Design Architecture for a Condition-
al Use Permit to allow a 5,800-square-foot senior residential
care facility for Brightstar Residential Care Facility(H-2021-
0040),located at 3336 and 3340 N.Meridian Rd.
Individuals wishing to testify in person may do so by attend-
ing the public hearing at the above-noted time and date.Oral
testimony may be limited to 3 minutes per person.Written testi-
mony may be submitted up to 72 hours prior to the Public Hear-
