Cory,
Thank you for your and I appreciate the information and perspective you have provided. As this is an application that
has been appealed to the City Council, the City Council and myself (as a potential tie breaking vote) are not able to
comment on the project outside of the public hearing. I am copying our City Clerk so your email and this response can
be included into the record.
Respectfully,
Mayor Robert Simison
City of Meridian

Good Morning,
I learned last night about a large night club that is being planned at the intersection of Ustick and
McMillan. If it matters I would like make sure we are thinking how Meridian is growing. What type of
community we want to build out too. A family community? or just grow for the sake of growing. I
think it is important to make sure we have a platform or foundation of how we will continue to
grow. We will allow anything to be build as long as it brings money to the city. Or will we grow with a
vision that is more important the money. Having places to dine and meet are great and I am sure we
will continue to see more of these come into the City but to have a "night club" that attracts people
from outside the area and the people attending do not have any care of concern for the people of
Meridian may not be the best for our community. Lets grow with quality business' that bring more
Family based activities to our city, that bring more quality to our city. Even if that means we have to
turn away some money at times.
Thank you,
Cory Schiller
