Todd and Tracey,
Thank you for your and I appreciate the information and perspective you have provided. As this is an open application,
the City Council and myself (as a potential tie breaking vote) are not able to comment on the project outside of the
public hearing. I am copying our City Clerk so your email and this response can be included into the record.
Respectfully,
Mayor Robert Simison

Planning & Zoning, Mayor Robert, & City council members,
Regarding the upcoming request for Annexation and Zoning of 7.69 acres of land for R-15 density -- located at the SW
corner of E. Victory Rd. and S. Locust Grove Rd, we respectfully ask that you deny the request!
The density in the 4 square miles of land around the Locust Grove & Victory intersection is PLENTY full of houses and I'm
pretty sure you all know that. So, it begs the question -- why would this be allowed to happen? The single road coming
out of the development would not have a "Reasonable" chance at turning left onto Locust Grove, ESPECIALLY during the
AM & PM rush hours! So...is everyone expected to turn right and travel south, even though they may want to travel
north? I would bet that none of you think this is good planning nor would you like to live there yourselves.
One last thing. If we were able to plan such a development in your backyard or across the street from your house,
and...further clog up the flow of traffic on your street, would you like it? It's always easy to say yes when it doesn't affect
you. Do the right thing and say NO to high density in this situation!
Sincerely,
Todd & Tracey
