As residents of Tuscany sub in SE Meridian since 2013, we have seen our neighborhood grow exponentially, to the point where decent traffic flow is an almost non-existent thing, especially during early morning and evening rush hours. Putting high density housing at this location makes little to not sense. I recall seeing the widening of Locust Grove on the ACHD plans for calendar year 2017. Here we are 4 years later and nothing has been done, with the exception of literally hundreds of homes being built to the south of this location. Higher density housing will make traffic literally unbearable and take away the very quality of life we moved to Meridian for. While I can see the need for higher density housing, I do not believe this area is the best choice. Affordable housing is needed and not wanting to sound like a "Not in my backyard" type, I would respectfully ask that you consider my thoughts, along with the majority of my neighbors when considering the best use for these parcels.
