RE: Reconsideration of Appeal AP 08-001 for Treasure Valley Technical Center
Dear Commissioners;
As representative for Metro Commercial Properties, please accept this request for
reconsideration of the Council's March 181h decision denying our appeal of a planning director
determination. Our request at that time was for the planning department to accept our CUP
application for our client's private school within an I-L zone so it may get a public hearing and
full staff analysis. While the Council on March 18 denied our appeal, we would like the council
to now reconsider that denial based upon new information and data which we would like to
present to the Mayor and Council.
As you will recall there was discussion by staff at our public hearing regarding the interplay
between existing conditions of approval for the original CUP/Planned Development and the uses
which were allowed at the time of the original CUP but through UDC adoption are not now
allowed in the I-L zone. Because of new information we have to respond to that dialogue and
staff s concerns, we respectfully ask that the council grant this request for reconsideration so we
may appear before you at a new public hearing to clarify the issues raised at the prior hearing in
greater detail.
