To Whom It May Concern. -
It is the purpose of this letter to describe the proposed addition for Trinity Assisted
Living; located at 1353 West 15t Street Meridian, Idaho.
The building is a residential assisted care facility currently configured for five bedrooms
and seven beds. We are proposing to add 2100 square feet to the building for an
additional five bedrooms and nine beds. Since there is not adequate room for parking in
the rear, we have asked that the building be rezoned to old town and provide parking in
the front with eight stalls and fencing as shown on the site drawing.
We feel that rezoning to old town will be consistent with the current appearance of the
existing residential buildings on the street, while providing functionality the property
owner needs for the addition.
New paint and landscape elements conforming to current city requirements are included
in the project as described on the drawings. The structure will be of stick construction;
the exterior will be of masonite siding, and the roof will match the existing asphalt type
shingles.

It is the purpose of this letter to describe the proposed addition and rezone to Old Town
for Trinity Assisted Living; located at 1353 West 1st Street Meridian, Idaho. This project
will consist of an addition equal to 2,109 square feet to a residential care facility which
currently holds eight beds and will expand to sixteen. Included are new rooms to
facilitate residents, a new kitchen and new flooring throughout the facility will be added.
This addition improvement of the site will not comply with the current Down Town
Guidelines based on the need for parking in the front. Since parking is not available in
the rear or side of the structure and the existing parking is in the front of the facility, Old
Town re -zoning is requested.
As noted on the drawings, compliance to down town guidelines in regards to landscape,
setbacks and elevations are adhered to. Adjacent properties to the project site employ
parking in the front as the predominant method of parking. Attached are photos of the
site and adjacent properties.

COMMITMENT OF PROPERTY POSTING
Per Unified Development Code (UDC) 11-5A-5D, the applicant for all applications requiring a
Public hearing (except for a UDC text amendment, a Comprehensive Plan text amendment
