Watertower Lane, Ste. 202, Meridian, Idaho 83642 Dear Staff members, This letter is in regards to a Rezone Application that we are submitting for review and approval. Property, located at 1303 E. Central Drive, is proposed for a new high school within the Joint School District No. 2 and possible higher education for a major university. The building will house high school administration offices, general classrooms, vocational technology programs and teaching spaces with offices for higher education. Surrounding the building will be adequate parking for the Joint School District Service Center, high school faculty with students and university faculty with students. The high school is schedule to open for Fall of 2007 classes with future classes opening in Fall 2008 pending on a successful bond election in 2007. The higher education schedule is not defined at this time but is anticipated to move into the facility around the same time as the high school. Currently the property is zoned for I-L which does not allow the use requested. It is our request to have the property rezoned to C-G for use of this building.
