Subject:Opposition to current plan for Compass Pointe

I would like to express that I am very opposed to the current plan for this small area.
1) As a person who has to drive through the Locust Grove/ Victory intersection daily this
is already over crowded.
The roundabout will help but cars won't be able to get out of this subdivision. Nor will they be able to cross
over lanes to turn in to the subdivision. They will block traffic. Cars leaving this subdivision will take a right on
Locust Grove and cut through the Tuscany Village subdivision. Those streets were not designed for more
traffic. There are children playing there. How will all of us feel if we let this go forward and something tragic
happens.
2) It does not fit in with any of the housing in the area and sets a bad precedent. 38
housing units in 7.6 acres ?
3) I see the developer is a California company. I seriously doubt that they give a darn about Meridian. They
will take their money and run.
This development is not in keeping with what makes Meridian Idaho great .
Do not approve this as this even if it is not in your backyard.
Thanks for listerning to your neighbors.
Mark Rees
Meridian Idaho.
