To Whom It May Concern:
The purpose of this letter is to request changing the zoning of the referenced property to an R-2 (presently a
mixed use/commercial designation). The request is made in conjunction with my neighbor, Brent
Rasmussen who has sent you a separate e-mail outlining our rationale for the desired changed zoning.
In addition to Mr. Rasmussens' arguments for the changed zone I might point out that, as-seen from the
attached "preliminary plat", access to a proposed R-4 zoned piece of property is thru our property. A clean
break to a different type of zoning could be made at our South boundary, not possible at the north
boundary.

Mr. Rasmussen and I are only desirous to develop our property in a similar manner to adjacent
development in this mile. The changed zoning will:
. Improve adjacent property value
. Please the neighbors who may otherwise be faced with adjacent commercial development
. Allow us to develop our property
. Aid the city in providing more residential development vrs commercial
The present restrictions on our property prevent us from using the land as we see fit and in a
complementary way agreeable to our neighbors.
We will both be at the public hearing on Tuesday, January 17th, will testify and would appreciate your
serious consideration to incorporate our desires into the Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the North
Meric;tian Area.
