Subject:Regarding Neighborhood Rezoning
External Sender - Please use caution with links or attachments.
To whom it may concern,
I wholeheartedly oppose any rezoning of our neighborhood to allow and/or include higher density housing being built in
the heart of an already too dense residential area.
I understand housing is in crisis as more and more people move to our city looking for and finding lower priced homes.
However, to place apartment buildings and high-density housing in an area filled to the brim with families would be at a
detriment to those living in the area as well as those who would potentially move here. The roads are already over
capacity as traffic is commonly backed up from Overland passed Victory during the morning commute and again backed
up from Amity passed Victory. With construction on Eagle and other roads feeding additional traffic into Locust Grove
the situation is made worse.
I would implore you to focus on your existing residents and families and serve them by increasing road size to alleviate
the traffic problems before adding an extra hundred or more to the problem. If you have any questions or concerns
please don’t hesitate to contact me.
