Again, I am voting NO to the Movado mixed use 2020-0123 application.
Most Movado residents turn left going west on Overland to get to Eagle Road. Even with our newly-built homes being
unoccupied, it is already extremely difficult to get out on Overland Road without risking our lives. The promised
commercial building would not increase traffic on Movado Way very much; however, putting in rentals of any type
would literally almost make it impossible to maintain safety with traffic.
We already have apartments built there so this developer needs to look elsewhere for a better location not only for
Movado residents but also for the renters. I’m afraid that developers are just seeing dollar signs in their eyes and not
thinking about the quality of life for the residents.
