Sir or Madam, As a home owner in the Village at Movado my wife and I are opposed to the proposed of multi-Use into a medium density zoned area. This development will create excessive traffic and will have an adverse effect on the value of our home. There needs to be an impact study to determine the environmental impact of such a development on the residents of the Movado development which is made up of single-family homes. There are common areas with-in the Movado development that are there for the use and enjoyment of the residents/owners within the Movado development. By crowding people into a densely populated development such as is being proposed, the residents of that development will try to use these areas. The Movado residents pay for the upkeep of these areas not the city. If the city is going to allow dense population developments, then they should provide areas for those people to use for their enjoyment. The traffic on Overland is already very congested at times. By adding this development, the traffic will become even more congested. Great care needs to be taken by the city in protecting the people of Meridian and adding this additional traffic is not a way to do that. The investment made by the owners of the homes in the Movado development needs to be protected and enhanced by the city of Meridian. Allowing this development will devalue the homes in Movado Estates, Movado Greens and the Village at Movado is not in the best interests of the residents or owners. Consider us AGAINST the project., We ask that you listen to our objections and realize that this development is bad for the resident/owners in the Movado developments and for the City of Meridian. Sincerely, Jon and Linda Trentman 1
