We are both against the proposed development of adjacent Multi-Use into medium density zoned areas. This will negatively impact our quality of life. We both attended the public hearing on March 4, 2021 and were satisfied with the commission's results after that meeting concluded and testimony was heard. Now that we are before the City of Meridian, we continue to object to the proposed project because: 1. ACHD declined our requests to validate the traffic that will be added onto S. Movado Way saying that the current road is built to handle the increase. We disagree and feel that a traffic study is needed, and a traffic signal needs to be built. As it is with the existing traffic it has become dangerous at peak times during the day without a traffic signal. Unfortunately, this large development of Movado Estates, Movado Greens and the Village at Movado only accesses to one connector road, Overland. I believe the streets should also have been fed onto Cloverdale for fire safety concerns especially. 2. We bought into this project thinking that our forever homes would be just that. We know that with the increase in density our home investment will decline. Currently the housing market is garnering high profits for developers but the high density building this area will spoil the residential ambiance and make it a danger for pedestrian, family foot and bike traffic in the Movado area. The concept of this development is that it will make life more congested and change our quality of life just so that they can make a profit and we are left with declining values to our investments (our homes) Therefore, please consider us AGAINST the project and we respectfully ask that you hear us and realize that the development would not suit the Movado area at all. Sincerely, Terese I Decker and Christy K Decker
