REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL TIME EXTENSION (CITY COUNCIL)
The McNelis Subdivision is located on the northwest corner of N. Ten Mile Road and W.
Ustick Road. The project, zoned I-L, C-G and L-O, has a total of 20 lots on 32.55 acres. The
project was originally approved on August 9, 2005. A time extension was approved by the
Planning Director, expiring on August 9, 2007.
Due to issues with the pressurized irrigation system and other delays, we have been
unable to get the plat recorded by the required date. The plat is currently being reviewed by the
Meridian Public Works Department and hopefully will go to Ada County within the next month.
We respectfully request that the City Council grant an additional time extension of six (6) months,
to January 9, 2008, to file the recorded plat. The time extension would not exceed that which
could have been granted by the Planning Director, had we the foresight to know the project would
continue to be further delayed. Thank you for your consideration.

The City of Meridian requires that the applicant provide an opportunity for a meeting between
the applicant of the proposal and the property owners within 300 feet. This is an invitation to a
neighborhood meeting concerning property located at the northwest corner of N. Ten Mile Road
and W. Ustick Road. A map is enclosed that shows the location of the property.
The neighborhood meeting will be held:

The applicant, Ten Mile Center, LLC, is requesting an additional time extension to record the
final plat. The plat expired on August 9, 2007, and we are requesting an additional extension
from the City Council. This requires that a neighborhood meeting and a public hearing be held.
No other changes from the original approval are being sought. The plat is currently with the City
of Meridian's Engineer and is near completion.
