RE: H-2021-0014 / 1690 W Overland Road / Artemisia Subdivision

The City of Meridian has requested feedback regarding the proposed annexation of 25.67
acres at 1690 W. Overland Road with C-G (General Retail and Service Commercial) zoning,
and a preliminary plat for the Artemisia Subdivision, which will consist of 9 commercial lots.
Ada County is supportive of the proposed annexation as it is compatible with Goal 2.2 of the
Ada County Comprehensive Plan, which encourages urban development be directed to Areas
of City Impact where investments in urban services have already been made. The proposed
zone is also compatible with the Future Land Use Map of the Meridian Comprehensive Plan,
as adopted by Ada County, as it designates the subject property as Mixed Employment and
Mixed Use Commercial within the Ten Mile Interchange Specific Area.
