External Sender - Please use caution with links or attachments. I am strongly opposed to the Oasis proposed to be located at Eagle and Ustick. This intersection is one of the most heavily used intersections and this will only increase that. Plus the concern of drunk drivers is a huge issue as well. This area is surrounded by neighborhoods and families. This type of establishment is better to be located in a more urban area like downtown Boise. The Oasis’ maximum occupancy is 900-1000. They have 122 dedicated parking spots for The Oasis. Surrounding business including Villa Sport have said they will not allow Oasis patrons to use their parking. So where will they park? Our neighborhoods? I am deeply concerned and do not want that. I am a mother and an educator and I know the negative impact these types of places can have on their neighboring areas and families. Please listen to our concerns and do the right thing and choose a more appropriately zoned area for this. These types of clubs have a history of shootings and fatalities around the USA.
