To Whom It May Concern,
We recently received information on the proposed Oasis nightclub to be built within a mile from our home. We are
opposed to this for a variety of reasons and hope you will consider these when you are considering the application.
1. The traffic on Eagle Road is already a significant problem and this would make it even worse.
2. The information says the Oasis nightclub is planning for a maximum of 1,000 patrons, yet the space will only allow for
125 parking spots. This will force patrons to park in our neighborhoods, which we are opposed to.
3. When we moved here a few years ago from the East Coast, we liked that the neighborhoods were quiet and peaceful
and allowed our kids to play and have some freedom. Adding a nightclub this close to our neighborhood would definitely
stifle this.
Please consider our voices! This is not the location for such a venue. Downtown or closer to the airport would be a more
appropriate location for a nightclub, not in the middle of suburban Meridian, Idaho--a city for families.
