Planning and Zoning Commission:
I am extremely disturbed concerning the Oasis Nightclub planned for the intersection at Eagle/Ustick for the following
reasons:
1. Much too close to residential/family areas.
2. Too much noise, traffic, litter, vandalism and crime in family/residential area..
3. Violence is attached to such an establishment which can also lead to trouble in the neighborhoods within the vicinity of
the club.
4. With the increase in population in the Treasure Valley, especially on Eagle Road and any intersecting road, will only
increase the noise, pollution, and attendant problems with drunk drivers..
5. The surrounding residential neighborhoods property values will go down dramatically because of the attendant traffic,
loud noise from music and people, parking problems overflowing into neighborhoods.
6. Safety for families and children walking to school will be dangerous. Three schools within one mile of this intersection.
Such an establishment needs to be in an industrial area which will have no families and children nextdoor.
Would YOU like to live next to such an establishment? Probably not.
Please do not allow this establishment to proceed.
