Re : Compass Point Owner CITY Or Wi w
CITY CLERKS OFFICE
My name is Patricia Johnson , I am the second lot named on the original drawing .
I am concerned about the third cottonwood from Victory falling on my house. I live directly
across Ten Mile Creek. The tree is 3/4 dead and showing signs of dying even more now. It is
rotting on the east side of the trunk and leaf buds that came out recently have dropped off. I
have spoken to my homeowners insurance(USAA) and they told me to inform the owner. That
appears to be very difficult. On one or more drawings and the internet show 204 Franklin St . as
the address . (All addresses are in Redwood , CA.) My letter was returned as undeliverable. The
internet shows Gena Henson as agent at 204 Franklin and also at the address of "one principal
on record " with William Butler and Gena Henson as agent at 735 Shasta St . On other plans in
your possession it gives 1629 Main St. for Butler Realty but instead Sequoia Realty and W. L.
Butler Construction are at that address . The California file number for Butler Realty is
201115710786
Where and who is the actual owner? I also sent a copy to A- Team Land Consultants . I have
not heard from them .
If the canopy-sized roots are dying on the east side it will fall westerly. This tree is at least 100
feet tall . I do not want it falling on my house or damaging the creek . This same thing
happened to my sister who also lived on a creek in Bozeman but fortunately her house was not
close to the creek. She notified her neighbor but nothing was done . Your arborist stated the
roots and weeds would hold up the bank . From what I read ,sprouts would come up from the
roots and since these would be covered up , the roots will die and collapse. There are many
cottonwood trees on this property and have not been addressed as to the potential of
destruction .
As I stated in the letter I sent ,the existing fence on the drawing is barbed wire which has been
cut and is open in two places visible from my yard . Very young boys have been down there as
well as dogs. This happened last summer when the past owner sold off sections of good
fencing . I asked the people taking the fencing to leave the barbed wire so that kids would not
go down there. From April to October the creek is also fed irrigation water.
Thank you ,
Pat Johnson ,
Eric Johnson .
