Although we live in the Boise City limits, our home is a mile from the proposed Oasis nightclub and would be negatively
impacted should the City of Meridian allow the nightclub to be built. We have watched Eagle Road grow from a 2-lane
highway to one of the busiest traffic corridors in the state and find it unconscionable that anyone would consider
locating a nightclub in an area already prone to high speeds and traffic accidents.
In addition to the obvious danger the nightclub would pose to drivers and pedestrians along Eagle Road, we have read
the comments made by Dave Sattler, Jennifer Shepherd, Jon Hastings, Cherie Hoeger, Jonathan Hoeger, and the
many others raised in objection to the proposed application for The Oasis nightclub and agree wholeheartedly with their
sentiments and opinions. Mr. Sattler's communication of 3/12/2021 does a particularly good job of identifying the
numerous reasons why the application for The Oasis nightclub should be unanimously rejected. We ask that you count
our voice with theirs, and we request the city deny the application and any subsequent requested reviews.”
