Dear city council members,
I am a resident of Meridian and I have lived here for the past 24 years. I would like to add my voice to those opposed for
the building of the oasis nightclub on the corner of Eagle and Ustick Road. Although this corner is zoned for
development I feel it is an inappropriate area to build a nightclub so close to residential areas. The late night hours and
increased traffic are not conducive to this area. If your home was located in that area would you want a nightclub so
close to it? It’s important to protect the rights, safety and peace of our existing neighborhoods. They were here first. I
propose that a more suitable location to be found for this venue. I recommend a nice safe place in a commercial area.
How about across from the police department? ?
