Hi Chris,
This is an email sent to me, which I think needs to be kept as part of the hearing app for the proposed project( I don’t
know what that is), but thought I should filter your way.
Miranda,
I know the TC has a subcommittee that focuses on application review and potential issues with ‘transportation’ thought
maybe you’d want to get this in front of them too.
Bill,
Whoever gets assigned to the potential project for this area, you might want to pass this info along too since they are
bound to have public involvement.
Caleb & Cameron,
Brian had cc’d me on his response to Chris, which is how I got the below email. I provided the POL/Vicinity emails I sent
to Jackson. If you’d like them I can forward.
I have not responded to Chris w/regards to a name at ACHD, if you’d like and have one I can.

Hi Kimberley and Brian:
We did have a zoom call with two BVA reps.
They are applying to put a small city at the end of Rolling Hills. Sounds like when it is all done that thousands of cars (via
apartments, retail, and office) will be funneled up and down Rolling Hills everyday. Though it is easy to imagine our way
of life being completely displaced, I admit that I cannot imagine how the street/area can possibly absorb this much
traffic. Cloverdale currently backs up 1/2 mile at rush hour, and even past Rolling Hill some nights. The apartment
building across the street on Overland is only at 15% capacity and turning in or out of Rolling Hill is starting to become a
safety issue. To multiply this congestion by the factor BVA is proposing is a recipe for disaster. It is no longer safe for our
children to play in the street as 18 wheelers currently go up and down at 45 miles an hour. To have our kids do the
normal things they have always done on the street would now almost certainly result in a fatality. Consider that actual
construction has not even begun, it will feel like a warzone.
Is there someone at the highway department we can file a grievance with?
Our neighborhood objects to this street becoming a fairway for 400 apartments, several massive office buildings, and an
entire retail complex and we object in the strongest terms possible.

HI Brian and Chris,
Jackson Cleaverly has contacted me recently on two properties, which he needed Property Owner lists to conduct the
neighborhood meetings. I have attached the emails that I sent, which show the respective properties marked with a red
X on the vicinity maps and the neighboring properties within 500’.
I do not have any other requests from Jackson at this time.

Hi Chris,
It looks like they’re going to be having a neighborhood meeting, which is something that they are required to have
before they can submit an application to the City. BVA has acquired a lot of property and it looks like this is going to be
a significant project. I do not know what sort of mitigation they’re planning for impacts, so those are good questions for
the public meeting. I’m also attaching a handout that we have for Public Involvement, in case that’s helpful.
The notifications are generally sent out 500-feet from the project boundaries, so everyone with a property address
within that bubble, should have received one. It looks like you’re just on the edge of that range, so anyone on or south
of View Circle may not have received one. If you think there may be an error, I would inquire of the contact who they
sent notifications. Kim Tabarini in our office sometimes helps with mailing lists, so she may also have that.
Have you signed up to receive Development Application Transmittals (for public hearings)? If not, that’s a good way to
see when a big project is going to P&Z and/or City Council (after the neighborhood meeting). You can do that here if
not: https://apps.meridiancity.org/SUBSCRIPTION_MANAGEMENT/.

You can also monitor the interactive map here: https://meridiancity.org/planning/current/application-map. You can
turn on “Inactive Applications” to research old approvals if desired (see attached).
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks

Hi Brian,
I learned today that BVA has some incredibly impactful plans for Rolling Hills.
Apparently a BVA rep named Jackson Cleverly contacted some neighbors about a preliminary meeting. Most of us - so
far as I can tell - knew nothing of this meeting.
Could you please advise.
I have CC'd one of my neighbors on this email.
