Hello, I would like to voice my concern regarding the night club that is to be decided upon on March 18th, 2021. 1 I am a resident of the Champion Park Neighborhood off Ustick and Eagle Rd.This is the same area where the night club is planned to be built. Our neighborhood (as well as the surrounding neighborhoods) is a peaceful, quiet place with low crime. These neighborhoods have many families with young children as well as many elderly people. A night club would make a tremendous negative impact on neighborhoods such as these. The noise levels at night would rise, therefore disturbing a nice quiet evening in our homes or out on our patios. Elderly, those of school age, and the working folks go to bed earlier than the nightclub would close. Therefore, many peoples lives would suffer from the restlessness. People coming from this club would likely be drunk, therefore, causing crime to rise in this area. Housing prices in the area would suffer. It would also make it more difficult to sell homes in the surrounding areas. Meridian is known as one of the best places to live in the Boise Area. Build a nightclub in the area and watch the city deteriorate. I do not feel that a night club close to many residential areas, such as described above, is on the best interest of anyone. The only one to benefit would be the business owner of the nightclub. Is that one person worth destroying our safe, peaceful, and desired neighborhoods or city? I for one say, "NO!" I am asking you to please say, "NO" - with me. Sincerely, LaVaughn Hull P.S. if there is anything I could do, like gather signatures to oppose this, would you please let me know?
