We wanted to get in on the controversy over the Nightclub that is planned to be built on the corner of
Ustick & Eagle Rd in Meridian.
We live very close to this area & are concerned about what a nightclub there might bring to the
community.
This location is the last place we would consider building such a place...across from a family shopping
center? Really??
The area is family-friendly with lots of children living in Champion Park just down the street from this
corner.
It is also a busy intersection & would be even more so with the clientele coming in & out at this venue.
We are concerned about the noise, parking issues, and safety of drivers going in & out from both sides
of the street.
There are so many other places for a Nightclub in the area, just not in.
We are totally against the building of this facility.
We have no issue with the Oasis Nightclub...just the location of such a place in our neighborhood.
Please vote no on this permit...it is very unfavorable to us.
