Oasis Nightclub Opposition
Message:
To our Representatives on City Council,
I am writing to express my strong opposition to the Oasis Nightclub that is proposed on Eagle and
Ustick. I was shocked to hear that a nightclub was even being considered in Meridian. We moved
here for the small town vibe and family centered values. Upon visiting their website I was

appalled to see their dress code, especially for females, and their warnings about weapons and
code of conduct. A nightclub, especially Oasis, has no business in our town.
As you are well aware, Eagle Road is already a high traffic area with its fair share of accidents.
How can we knowingly agree to adding to the traffic, and the possibility of inebriated drivers,
and do so with a clear conscience? I would argue that we cannot. I urge you to reject this
proposal and do what is right for our community.
