We request the application of the Oasis be declined by each member of the Meridian City Council and the Mayor of
Meridian.
An establishment like Oasis Night Club should be placed near closer to hotels or downtown with other like businesses as
is befitting a nightclub who brings in entertainment acts from out of state. Its proposed location is not a good fit for our
community. The noise level of the entertainment acts at night as well pedestrian and vehicle traffic levels at one of the
busiest intersections in the state does nothing make this a fit for the location being considered. As it is, the area is
turning into huge, paved parking lots. We do not need more of the same. Importantly, it is too close to
Neighborhoods. Please consider the bigger picture and deny this application.
