To Honorable Mayor Simison and Members of the Meridian City Council:
We are writing to express our opposition to the Oasis nightclub at the proposed Eagle/Ustick location. The
traffic flow and parking spaces do not accommodate the number of patrons the club is trying to serve. The
way the Eagle/Ustick intersection is designed, patrons and ride-share drivers frequenting the club are going to
inevitably back traffic onto Ustick. We are also concerned about the potential uptick in crime and DUI-related
incidences that inebriated individuals may cause near our neighborhood.
This venue should be in a location that has easier coming/going access, more parking, and that is further from
residential areas.
Please add our voices to those in opposition to this project.
