Hello Mayor Simison and All Involved,
I am very much in support of The Oasis Performance and Event Venue that is set to open this fall. I believe it will bring
much deserved recognized attention to the city of Meridian and what is all offered in the area. Most times when I or
anyone else decide do anything it involves going to down town Boise such as the bars or restaurants. The Oasis will be a
one of a kind place in the entire Ada/Canyon County areas. With the village being so close I believe it will keep people
from going to the down town Boise and keep them in Meridian. I believe it has the potential to bring in more people
from outside the valley and give them another good reason to come and check out the meridian area rather than just
Boise. I have been waiting for a business of this type to open and am excited it is finally becoming a reality. Please allow
this business to have whatever they are in need of to put this project into final effect and let’s show the valley and out of
staters what we have to offer.

Because this project is part of an open application, myself and City Council members are prohibited from commenting
outside the public hearing. We take public feedback seriously and want you to know that I have received your email and
have read your comments.
Your email and my response will be included in the public record. The City Clerk has the project file available online for
review: The Oasis CUP H-2021-0004. Prior to the public hearing anyone is able to review the application materials at any
time as well as submit testimony. If you have any additional comments you are able to submit testimony in advance in a
number of ways. Please note, all forms of testimony hold the same weight. Written testimony may be submitted by
email to cityclerk@meridiancity.org or by text message by texting “Comment” to 31996. Video testimony can be
recorded in advance and sent by email to cityclerk@meridiancity.org. Comments can also be left by voicemail. Please
call (208) 288-5607 to record your voice testimony. For additional information associated with this application please
