NEW FORM SUBMISSION Request for Mayor and Council: Name: Molly Mills _replyto: mollyalways5@yahoo.com Street Address: 410 E Grand Canyon Dr City: Meridian State: ID Zip Code: 83646 Subject: Opposed to building the Oasis Nightclub in Meridian Message: Mayor and City Council members, I have lived in Meridian for 9 years. I do not want Oasis nightclub to be built here. If your vision for Meridian is to "be the West’s premier community in which to live, work and raise a family", you should not allow this type of establishment in our community. The proposed build site is near homes and an already high traffic area. 2 I agree with the comments made by Jon Hastings, Cherie Hoeger, Jonathan Hoeger, and the many other objections to the proposed application for The Oasis nightclub at the Eagle Road/Ustick intersection. I ask that you count my voice with theirs, and request the city deny the application and any subsequent requested reviews. Submitted 04:47 PM - 10 March 2021. If the vision for Meridian is truly to "be the West’s premier community in which to live, work and raise a family", a nightclub has no place in the community. The desired location is one of the main roads in Meridian and is already congested with too much traffic. The proposed site is also near family homes and neighborhoods. Please do not add this to our community. Thank you, Molly Mills 1
